Why PUBG must be unbanned in Pakistan?
So, on 1st July 2020 PTA tweeted that they are receiving numerous complaints from parents regarding PUBG where parents claim that the game is highly addictive and it causes mental health issues which cause the children to commit suicide.
And later on, the 3rd of July PTA tweeted that they have decided to temporarily ban PUBG across all platforms in Pakistan.
First of all the problem is with parents. Parenting role doesn't finish after a child is born it is the duty of parents to monitor what their child is doing in free time. What he is using a computer for or what game is he playing. Another thing that our brown parents need to understand is that every game has an age rating if the child doesn't apply for the legal age then it is the duty of parents to monitor his gameplay and game hours. Nowadays, children play GTA in front of parents and do robberies and when they are successful their parents feel happy for them and cheer them up. When their child grows up in a wanna be a gangster they are going to go to courts and say please ban GTA. So, it is merely a fault of parents.
Talking about mental health everything has an effect on the mental health of every single person. Every day hundreds of people commit suicide because of unemployment, low grades, inferiority complex, and society's pressure. Why our government does not ban all of this.
Our government has to improve its banning policies because this continues like this no international company would invest in our Pakistan. YouTube, when faced ban a few years ago, was put in a financial loss. For example, if YouTube makes YouTube Space in Pakistan and if a controversial content is posted on YouTube first of all our AWAAM is going to attack it.
Then after all of this our science minister expects Tesla to come to Pakistan. After this all controversial discussion we come to a point of the conclusion that PUBG must be unbanned because the E-Sports industry in Pakistan had a boom since the number of PUBG players increased in Pakistan. Pakistan has earned $3,591,225.34 in Pakistan and ranks as the 11th biggest E-Sports industry in the world.
PUBG must be unbanned as it was a stress reliever for many of us and we need to be mature in making decisions.
